New ball
Rumbleball flips traditional baseball on its head with the introduction of the Rumbleball, a sponge rubber core ball, firm enough to be hit by a Rumbleball bat but soft enough for a baserunner to be hit.

inning clock
The addition of an inning clock raises the stakes and changes how teams strategize and play the game, a major departure from traditional baseball. The inning play clock fuels intensity, it doesn’t just track time — it drives the action given each Rumbleball game an palpable sense of urgency every moment of the game.

dual-scoring system
A dual-scoring system transforms each player on the field into dual-threat capable of hitting, running, dodging, defending, and scoring on both offense and defense in ways that have never been seen on a baseball field.

No baselines
The real game-changer, baserunners are not confined to traditional base paths. Instead, they can move freely within the entire infield, choosing their own sequence of bases and creating dynamic, high-stakes perpetual rundowns at every turn.

Full contact
Rumbleballers are allowed to physically engage their opponent with legal competitive contact that is delivered to the trunk of their opponent’s body and shall only be delivered directly to the front side of the opponent in a natural progression of Rumbleball play.

the crown
The matches are played on a field known as The Crown, a traditional-sized baseball field where dodging, hitting, and running take center stage but with a twist: no outer-bound. The entire field is in play, instead of 4 bases there are 6 bases spread across the Crown.

The Format
The format is simple: the first team to win 2 out of 3 innings takes the match. The first team to win 3 matches wins the game and claims The Crown.
